Intelligent glass greenhouses are high-end intelligent greenhouse styles, and they are also the greenhouse styles with the longest lifespan. So what are the key points to pay attention to during their construction?

1.Light transmittance index

The main energy source for plant growth is sunlight. Before light saturation, every 1% increase in light transmittance increases the yield of light-loving crops by 1%. The overall light transmittance of glass greenhouses is between 60% and 70%. The factors that affect the light transmittance of glass greenhouses include the light transmittance of the greenhouse top covering material and the thickness and material of the steel frame of the glass greenhouse.

2.Thermal insulation performance

The better the thermal insulation performance of the veined glass greenhouse, the lower the heating cost in winter and the higher the temperature inside the greenhouse. The indicators for measuring the thermal insulation of the covering layer are the heat transfer coefficient and the heat transfer resistance. The unit of heat transfer coefficient is W/(m 2·K). The smaller the value, the better the thermal insulation of the covering layer.

The heat transfer coefficient of a single-layer greenhouse covering material is generally above 6.2 W/(m 2·K). After installing the internal insulation blanket and the wall insulation blanket, the heat transfer coefficient is reduced to 3~4.8 W/(m 2·K). Under normal circumstances, the temperature of a multi-span greenhouse is 2~5 degrees higher than that of the outdoors without heating, and 4~8 degrees higher with insulation measures.

3.Service life of greenhouse

Since the investment cost of an acre of intelligent glass greenhouse is about 200,000 to 300,000 yuan, we generally design the greenhouse frame according to the maximum wind and snow load once in 20 years, and secondly, the corrosion resistance life of the steel frame should also reach about 20 years.
